Patiala Aviation Club boasts of a well-trained and competent DGCA approved team entrusted with flying training and maintenance operations. PAC is equipped to provide its students quality ground and flying training including simulator training on a state of the art Cessna 172 glass cockpit simulator, particularly for Instrument Flying. Government of Punjab, through PSCAC, is committed provide constant upgrade of infrastructure and academic facilities ranging from modern hostel, classrooms, aircraft, equipment, library etc.
Our students’ safety is our highest priority. We customize the training for each student to suit the individual learning ability, learning pace, cognitive and psycho-motor skills, comfort level and confidence to ensure their safety, comfort and successful training. Most of the pilots trained at PAC are at prestigious positions and are flying with national and international commercial airlines.
PAC is imparting flying training activities at its Patiala and Amritsar Bases in the State of Punjab.
Patiala base is located at Civil Aerodrome, Sangrur Road, Patiala(Punjab) spanning across 48030 sqft. historic building and hangar. Uncontrolled Airspace with runway (15/33) of 3800 ft x 150 ft having GPS instrument facilities is available for flying training. The campus has ample space for parking, canteen, stores, fitness centers, bowling allies and leisure activities within walking distance. The airport and our campus has 24/7 security.
Patiala base at Patiala is located at a distance of about five Km from Patiala Bus Stand and Railway Station. The base is about an hour drive from Chandigarh International Airport (70 km long four lane NH-7). The flying base has excellent road connectivity as NH -7 connects NH-44 (GT Road) at Rajpura located about 30 km away from the base.

Amritsar base is located at Shri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar (Punjab) spanning across 48000 sqft historic building and hangar. Controlled Airspace Safe Class D with approach runway (16/34) of 12001ft x 175ft having Radar Servcie, NDB, ILS, RNAV-GPS, VOR instrument approach, is available for flying training.The campus has ample parking space. Since, it is located at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, all facilities available for International Flying are available for flying training activities. A fully operational control tower and all the facilities for training and commercial flying operations such as runways, runway lighting, approach lights, PAPI and multiple instrument approaches are available for Pilot Trainees. There are over 14 airports within a 120 Nm radius that we use for our training, including one international airports. In addition, there are cafeteria, stores, and leisure activities within walking distance. The airport and our campus has 24×7 security.
The Amritsar Base is located at a distance of 10 KM from the city Bus stand.
