(A DGCA approved Flying Training Organisation under the AEGIS of Punjab State Civil Aviation Council)

Patiala Aviation Club (PAC) was established in 1962 by Punjab Government and was inaugurated by Late S Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister, Punjab. On April 01, 2015, PAC was subsumed by the Punjab State Civil Aviation Council (PSCAC) established by the State Government for promotion and co-ordination of aviation related training and education in the State of Punjab by unifying all resources, including technical and flying training, under one umbrella body for optimal utilization. PAC is located at a sprawling 250 acre campus which has also has well equipped Punjab Aircraft Maintenance Engineering College (PAMEC) imparting under graduation  level program [B.Sc. (Hons) AME with DGCA approved licence course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering] and Punjab State Aeronautical Engineering College (PSAEC), a newly established institution running four year Degree level program in ‘Aeronautical Engineering’, ‘Aerospace Engineering (Avionics)’ and Bachelor in Management Studies (Airlines, Tourism and Travel).
